He has been with Havas for more than 25 years

Charles began his career in the pharmaceutical industry years ago. He has been with Havas for more than 25 years, holding positions such as vice president and global brand director. Since 2012, he has been CEO of the agency’s APAC region, and since 2014 he has been a Havas Health & You global partner.

 

Based in Paris and New York, Charles has launched or managed numerous global consumer health, direct-to-consumer and prescription brands including Plavix, Celebrex, Reyataz, Stilnox and Visudyne. He most notably supervises and leads the agency’s global relationship with Sanofi, one of the largest clients for the Group since 2005. He has worked on campaigns for Lantus, Apidra and Lovenox and has also led international clients Celgene (Revlimid), Bristol-Myers Squibb (Baraclude), Pfizer (Vfend, Zyvox and  Celsentri) and many others.

 

From 1995 to 2001, he led the Europe Against Cancer Program from European Commission DG Sanco;  based in Luxembourg, the program engaged 27 member states of the European Union.

 

Charles holds a doctorate in pharmacy and received a master’s in economics from ESSEC Business School.
